  TED英語演講稿 1

Dear,

Why does this matter? Boy, it matters a lot. Because no one gets to the corner office by sitting on the side, not at the table, and no one gets the promotion if they dont think they deserve their success, or they dont even understand their own success.I wish the answer were easy. I wish I could go tell all the young women I work for, these fabulous women,"Believe in yourself and negotiate for yourself. Own your own success." I wish I could tell that to my daughter.

But its not that simple. Because what the data shows, above all else, is one thing, which is that success and likeability are positively correlated for men and negatively correlated for women. And everyones nodding, because we all know this to be true.Theres a really good study that shows this really well. Theres a famous Harvard Business School studyon a woman named Heidi Roizen. And shes an operator in a company in Silicon Valley, and she uses her contacts to become a very successful venture capitalist.

Dear,

I gave this talk at Facebook not so long ago to about 100 employees, and a couple hours later, there was a young woman who works there sitting outside my little desk, and she wanted to talk to me. I said, okay, and she sat down, and we talked. And she said, "I learned something today. I learned that I need to keep my hand up." "What do you mean?"She said, "Youre giving this talk, and you said you would take two more questions.

I had my hand up with many other people, and you took two more questions. I put my hand down, and I noticed all the women did the same, and then you took more questions, only from the men." And I thought to myself,"Wow, if its me — who cares about this, obviously — giving this talk — and during this talk.

  TED英語演講稿 3

Dear,

I cant even notice that the mens hands are still raised, and the womens hands are still raised, how good are we as managers of our companies and our organizations at seeing that the men are reaching for opportunitiesmore than women?" Weve got to get women to sit at the table.Message number two: Make your partner a real partner. Ive become convinced that weve made more progress in the workforce than we have in the home. The data shows this very clearly.

If a woman and a man work full-time and have a child, the woman does twice the amount of housework the man does, and the woman does three times the amount of childcare the man does. So shes got three jobs or two jobs, and hes got one. Who do you think drops out when someone needs to be home more? The causes of this are really complicated, and I dont have time to go into them. And I dont think Sunday football-watching and general laziness is the cause.

  TED英語演講稿 4

Dear,

The problem with these stories is that they show what the data shows: women systematically underestimate their own abilities. If you test men and women, and you ask them questions on totally objective criteria like GPAs, men get it wrong slightly high, and women get it wrong slightly low. Women do not negotiate for themselves in the workforce. A study in the last two years of people entering the workforce out of college showed that 57 percent of boys entering, or men, I guess, are negotiating their first salary, and only seven percent of women.

And most importantly, men attribute their success to themselves, and women attribute it to other external factors. If you ask men why they did a good job, theyll say, "Im awesome. Obviously. Why are you even asking?" If you ask women why they did a good job, what theyll say is someone helped them, they got lucky, they worked really hard.

Dear,

To me March 28th petition is a more personal experience. Habitually shy, I had been reluctant to take part in any such activities. Encouraged by my friends, homunicating munication. It should be lucid to be penetrating.

In China, certain public speaking skills have been unduly emphasized. e delivery and non-verbal communication: speed control, platform manner, and so on. pronunciation is important, yet of greater importance is this: Is your language competent enough to express your ideas exactly the e contestants failed to address their questions head on. Some were able to, but did not know where to stop—the dragging on betrayed their lack of confidence. The root cause was that they did not listen attentively to the questions. Or they were thinking of what they had prepared.

you practiced over and over again; you e optimistic and expect the best to happen. it is certainly a state of mind that is well worth developing and strengthening.

in china, the woman who is more than 40 year-old is called da ma, it has to be admitted that da ma is a powerful group, they own certain money at hand, we always hear about the news about them buying house everywhere or flying to the foreign country to buy the brands.

the large group now has invaded the square at night, when the night comes, several groups of da ma go to the square, playing the music and dance until 9 o’clock. about few years ago, only few women would do this, but now, as the economy develops, people live a better life, so they begin to find entertainment. da ma have made the square dance popular, when we go out at night, we may find them dance everywhere.

i think square dance is a good way for people to get exercise, they can keep fit.

Dear,

this is the composition about to protect and love our environment. indeed, we only have one earth, it is essential and imperative for us to treat it nicely. or else, we will be the one suffering. as a matter of fact, a great number of animals and plants had extinct. all this was substantially because of we human being. and a large number of them are endangered. if this does not imply that we are not obliged to do something, the world is going insane and will be destroyed.

to stop this from happening, we have many options. first and foremost we should start from ourselves. do as what a perfect citizen should do. then, restrain the factories from polluting, this can be done by establishing laws and rules. if we united as one, nothing is impossible.

Dear,

  Good afternoon, everyone,

The national student sports program, waged by the Ministry of Education and aimed at improving students health, was held from 10:00a.m.~11:00a.m.on April 29,2007 in many primary and middle schools all over China. Almost 11 million students in Jiangsu province participated in this program.

The Ministry of Education advocates that we do exercises for one hour a day and can work healthily for 50 years. Our whole life will be very enjoyable.

In my opinion, we senior high school students should do exercises for one hour a day even though our spare time is limited. Health is a basic condition for our study. If we did not do exercises, we wouldn’t be able to get good study records. So every one of you, join the program now!

  Thank you!

Dear,

Every child is surrounded by the deep mother love. However, we often turn a blind eye to the love. One day I deeply felt the love.

One day I hurried home for lunch after school, because there would be an exam in the afternoon and I had expected to go back to school early to prepare for the exam. But when I got home, the lunch was not ready yet.

I felt unhappy. When the dishes were served, I forund none I like. I ran out of my house angrily and wanderde on the street for a while, hungry. Then I walked to school. When I got into the classroom, I saw a lunch box on my desk. One classmate told me that it was my mother ther that had brought it here. After opening the box, I found my favorite food inside. My eyes was moist with tears.Mother gave me her love without asking for return, How deep mother love is!

Dear,

Good afternoon, Honorable Judges, Ladies and Gentlemen, the title of my speech is Defeat makes me more confident.

Most people may think that defeat is a kind of obstacle that prevents you from being successful. Quite the contrary, I believe defeat makes me more confident.

As you may know, if you can not be an excellent loser you will never win.

Everything in my life always shows both my advantages and disadvantages. I have been entering a lot of contests. I don’t care about the results, but feel it is more important to learn something during the process. After I failed in the contests each time, the judges always gave me useful comments and suggestion addressing my shortcomings and helped me improve myself step by step. So, now I am more self-confident to face any challenges and believe I will be the final winner in my life.

Dear,

Dear teachers and students, Good afternoon!

I am xx from class one, grade two. I feel very happy to stand here today to give a speech. Speaking of happiness, for us children, it may be a piece of sweet candy, it may be a beautiful dress, or it may be a novel toy. And this kind of happy feeling is often short, is there a long - term happiness? I would say yes, yes! That is a child has that is higher than the mountains, deeper than the sea of maternal love. Mother is the sun in my home, with her in, there is warmth. When the first ray of sunshine in the morning into the window, I opened the hazy eyes, see is the mother busy figure, ear heard is the mother urged me to get up. I enjoy my mothers love, like a happy bird every day happy heart.

  Thank you!

Dear,

Summer is a season of fun and joy,so lets not spoil it with unfortunate and highly preventable tragedies.First only swim in safe areas near the beach, always swim between the flags and look for life guards, never go swimming alone or under the influence of drug or alcohol.

We all know that summer does get really hot,so make sure you keep yourself cool and well hydrated, the last thing you want during a summer holiday will be an annoying heat stroke.

Net it will be the food we eat,the food from the side of the street are mostly unhygienic, they can give you a very nasty stomach ache if your lucky or food poisoning if your not. These are just some of the things that you need to be aware of during summer, being careful will sometimes save you alot of trouble.

  Thanks!

Dick wearing a pair of new trousers went together with his father to his aunts house. At the sight of the boys new trousers, his aunt admired very much and kissed him favorably. In front of the boy, there were many nice cakes and chocolates. His cousin also took out all his toys and played with him.The boy enjoyed a good day there.

While he went back home with his father, he was so joyful that he sang and danced along the way home. suddenly he slipped and fell into the mud and his trousers got very dirty.

When he got home, his mother saw his dirty trousers and said:

"Oh,what a mess! This is not the first time you come home like that , and this time you are wearing your new trousers!"

"I am sorry, mum,"said Dick."But I had no time to take my new trousers off when I fell down."

Dear,

Today, as people live a better life, they chase for more enjoyment. we can see from the news that when the holiday comes, there are so many people gather in the scenery site.

People like to travel today, they can take a plane, take the bus or even take a bike. on my opinion, the best way to travel is by train. first, it is very cheap. compare with other ways, such as plane and bus, train is less expensive, people can save a lot of money. besides, taking the train is much safer. people don’t have to worry about crush, which is more happen in the plane or bus. second, we can enjoy the scenery in the train.

Though the train is very slow, we can have a good sight of the beautiful scenery, when we go to tibet, we can see different colors and different mountains during the trip. taking the train is the best way to travel.
