Mine! Yours!
My work begins an hour earlier than most others.
My typical day starts with checking the previous day’s market overview and price level of each tenor.
As I finish reading headlines from some newspaper and greet each dealer through messenger chat, the clock points to 9 a.m.
“Good morning, this is Liv from SMBS. Have a profitable day!”
We refer to the session from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as war.
It will be another day of tension and urgency.
I should be careful with each bank’s different trade execution.
And I should stay alert so I can close today’s deals without any mistakes.
TRANS
我比別人提前1小時(shí)開始工作。
我到辦公座位后，最先做的是查看前一天的市場(chǎng)情況及確認(rèn)價(jià)格標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。
讀完頭條新聞，用MSN 跟其他經(jīng)紀(jì)人寒暄幾句后就到9 點(diǎn)了。
“你好，我是SMBB 的慧蓮。祝你工作愉快！”
我們把從9 點(diǎn)到下午3 點(diǎn)的工作當(dāng)做打仗。
今天又會(huì)是一個(gè)充滿緊張與急迫感的一天。
我要注意每個(gè)銀行不同的交易流程。
還得要注意每筆交易都不出差錯(cuò)。
EXPRESSION
1. I will update you on them.
我會(huì)更新信息。
A: I need some of the information for Monday’s conference and for Wednesday’s presentation.
B: OK. I will update you on them.
2. Any room to improve your offer?
你還想要修改訂單嗎？
A: Do you have any room to improve your offer?
B: Well, I just want to stay for now.
3. The counter party is Merrill Lynch, London.
對(duì)方是倫敦美林證券。
A: OK, deal done.
B: The counter party is Merrill Lynch, London.
4. Hold on, I will check the size.
等會(huì)兒，讓我估一下價(jià)格。
A: He is suggesting 50 million.
B: Hold on, I will check the size.
REAL TALK
Did you hear 3yr CRS (CCS) was traded in the market yesterday?
聽說(shuō)昨天股市交易了美國(guó)CCS 的股票？
No, I haven’t heard yet. I will ask him if he still has the same interest today.
還沒(méi)有。我想問(wèn)他今天對(duì)那個(gè)還感興趣與否。
Keep an eye on it and try harder to get the counter bid for him!
要密切關(guān)注它，還要更加努力得到訂單。
Hope I can make the deal today!
真希望今天能拿到訂單。
