鑒于需要進(jìn)行自我介紹的時(shí)機(jī)多有不同，因而進(jìn)行自我介紹時(shí)的表達(dá)方法便有所不同。自我介紹的內(nèi)容是指自我介紹時(shí)所表述的主體部分，即在自我介紹時(shí)表述的具體形式。
確定自我介紹的具體內(nèi)容，應(yīng)兼顧實(shí)際需要、所處場(chǎng)景，并應(yīng)具有鮮明的針對(duì)性，切不可“千人一面”，一概而論。
依照自我介紹時(shí)表述的內(nèi)容的不同，自我介紹可以分為下述五種具體形式：
(1)應(yīng)酬式
應(yīng)酬式的自我介紹，適用于某些公共場(chǎng)合和一般性的社交場(chǎng)合，如旅行途中、宴會(huì)廳里、舞場(chǎng)之上、通電話時(shí)。它的對(duì)象，主要是進(jìn)行一般接觸的交往對(duì)象。對(duì)介紹者而言，對(duì)方屬于泛泛之交，或者早已熟悉，進(jìn)行自我介紹只不過(guò)是為了確認(rèn)身份而已，故此種自我介紹內(nèi)容要少而精。
應(yīng)酬式的自我介紹內(nèi)容最為簡(jiǎn)潔，往往只包括姓名一項(xiàng)即可。例如：
“您好!我的名字叫張路”。
“我是雍紋巖”。
(2)工作式
工作式的自我介紹，主要適用于工作之中。它是以工作為自我介紹的中心;因工作而交際，因工作而交友。有時(shí)，它也叫公務(wù)式的自我介紹。
工作式的自我介紹的內(nèi)容，應(yīng)當(dāng)包括本人姓名、供職的單位及其部門、擔(dān)負(fù)的職務(wù)或從事的具體工作等三項(xiàng)。他們叫作工作式自我介紹內(nèi)容的`三要素，通常缺一不可。其中，第一項(xiàng)姓名，應(yīng)當(dāng)一口報(bào)出，不可有姓無(wú)名，或有名無(wú)姓。第二項(xiàng)供職的單位及其部門，有可能最好全部報(bào)出，具體工作部門有時(shí)也可以暫不報(bào)出。第三項(xiàng)擔(dān)負(fù)的職務(wù)或從事的具體工作，有職務(wù)最好報(bào)出職務(wù)，職務(wù)較低或者無(wú)職務(wù)，則可報(bào)出所從事的具體工作。例如：
“你好!我叫張奕希，是大連市政府外辦的交際處處長(zhǎng)”。
“我名叫付冬梅，在人民大學(xué)國(guó)際政治系教外交學(xué)”。
(3)交流式
交流式的自我介紹，主要適用于在社交活動(dòng)中，它是一種刻意尋求與交往對(duì)象進(jìn)一步交流與溝通，希望對(duì)方認(rèn)識(shí)自己、了解自己、與自己建立聯(lián)系的自我介紹。有時(shí)，它也叫社交式自我介紹或溝通式自我介紹。
交流式自我介紹的內(nèi)容，大體應(yīng)當(dāng)包括介紹者的姓名、工作、籍貫、學(xué)歷、興趣以及與交往對(duì)象的某些熟人的關(guān)系等等。但它們非定要面面俱到，而應(yīng)依照具體情況而定。例如：
“我叫邢冬松，在北京吉普有限公司工作。我是清華大學(xué)汽車工程系90級(jí)的，我想咱們是校友，對(duì)嗎?”
“我的名字叫沙靜，在天馬公司當(dāng)財(cái)務(wù)總監(jiān)，我和您先生是高中同學(xué)”。
“我叫甄鸝鳴，天津人。我剛才聽(tīng)見(jiàn)你在唱蔣大為的歌，他是我們天津人，我特喜歡他唱的歌，你也喜歡嗎?”
(4)禮儀式
禮儀式的自我介紹，適用于講座、報(bào)告、演出、慶典、儀式等一些正規(guī)而隆重的場(chǎng)合。它是一種意在表示對(duì)交往對(duì)象友好、敬意的自我介紹。
禮儀式的自我介紹的內(nèi)容，亦包含姓名、單位、職務(wù)等項(xiàng)，但是還應(yīng)多加入一些適宜的謙辭、敬語(yǔ)，以示自己禮待交往對(duì)象。例如：
“各位來(lái)賓，大家好!我叫范燕飛，是云海公司的副總經(jīng)理。現(xiàn)在，由我代表本公司熱烈歡迎大家光臨我們的開(kāi)業(yè)儀式，謝謝大家的支持。”
(5)問(wèn)答式
問(wèn)答式的自我介紹，一般適用于應(yīng)試、應(yīng)聘和公務(wù)交往。在普通性交際應(yīng)酬場(chǎng)合，它也時(shí)有所見(jiàn)。
問(wèn)答式的自我介紹的內(nèi)容，講究問(wèn)什么答什么，有問(wèn)必答。例如：
甲問(wèn)：“這位小姐，你好，不知道你應(yīng)該怎么稱呼?”乙答：“先生你好!我是王雪時(shí)。”
主考官問(wèn)：“請(qǐng)介紹一下你的基本情況”。應(yīng)聘者答：“各位好!我是張軍，現(xiàn)年28歲，陜西西安人，漢族，共產(chǎn)黨員，已婚，1995年畢業(yè)于西安交通大學(xué)船舶工程系，獲工學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位。現(xiàn)任北京首鋼船務(wù)公司助理工程師，已工作3年。其間，曾去阿根廷工作1年。本人除精通專業(yè)外，還掌握英語(yǔ)、日語(yǔ)，懂電腦，會(huì)駕駛汽車和船只。曾在國(guó)內(nèi)正式刊物上發(fā)表過(guò)6篇論文，并擁有一項(xiàng)技術(shù)專利。”
