雪萊的英文詩(shī)

　　The flower that smiles today

　　Tomorrow dies;

　　All that we wish to say

　　Tempts and then flies.

　　What is this world’s delight?

　　Lightning that mocks the night.

　　Brief even as bright.

　　今天微笑的花朵

　　明日它便死去;

　　我們但愿留駐的

　　誘惑之后飛去。

　　人世間快樂(lè)究為何物?

　　恰如閃電嘲笑黑夜，

　　光亮一片，轉(zhuǎn)瞬消逝。


 

　　Virtue, how frail it is!

　　Friendship how rare!

　　Love, how it sells poor bliss

　　For proud despair!

　　But we,though soon they fall,

　　Survive their joy, and all

　　Which ours we call.

　　美德何其脆弱!

　　友誼何其稀有!

　　愛(ài)情以不足道的幸福

　　輕易換取高傲的絕望!

　　它們很快跌落，而我們

　　活下去，再?zèng)]有它們帶來(lái)的歡樂(lè)，

　　沒(méi)有我們稱為“我們的”一切。
